Cub Cadet LR2 ES76

The LR2 ES76 ‘mini-rider’ ride-on lawnmower is one of Cub Cadet’s first battery-powered lawn tractor, with all the performance of a petrol-driven machine, delivering a superior cutting experience without any compromise.

A customisable cutting experience

It is capable of cutting larger areas of lawns quickly and efficiently with its 76 cm / 30 inch cutting width, and grass cuttings can be discarded via the side ejector, or finely shred and returned to the ground with the supplied mulch blade. The cutting height can be adjusted between 5 preset positions from 38 cm up to 95 cm to suit. RevTEK technology allows for mowing whilst reversing.

The benefits of battery power are plentiful

The mini-rider gets its power from a 56 Volt Lithium-ion battery which has a rated capacity of 30 Ah, and is always ready to use with immediate starting and just a light touch of the pedal to get moving. Depending on the mowing conditions, you can expect the rider to run for up to 60 minutes on a single charge covering around 3000 m²/h, and recharge in just 4 hours. With just 10% battery level left, the cutting deck will automatically switch off to ensure there’s enough battery power left to return to the charging station.

Compared to any lawn mower fueled by petrol, this battery-operated alternative is completely emission-free and also operates much more quietly, making it perfect for use in sensitive environments whilst also providing a comfortable user experience. Longevity of the machine is ensured as the electric motor contains no wearing parts such as spark plugs, fuel filters, and carburetors.

Efficient and comfortable operation

The LR2 ES76 has a tight 46 cm turning circle for easy manoeuvering around garden obstacles including trees, shrubs, and garden ornaments. It’s overall compact design means it will fit through most standard garden gates too for quick and efficient movement from lawn to lawn.
